The 2026-2027 theme is "What My Culture Means to Me"

CTMS entries are due October 23rd. Students, get started today!

Follow the steps below:

1. Choose a category. Read the guidelines from Texas PTA Reflections (English | Spanish)

   • Dance Choreography 

   • Film Production

   • Literature

   • Music Composition

   • Photography

   • 2D Visual Arts

2. Create your work of art. Important: Follow the guidelines linked above.

3. Create a title for your artwork and an artist’s statement describing how your art relates to this year’s theme. This will be included in the electronic entry form.

4. Join CTMS PTA for the 2026-2027 school year if you haven’t already. Join here.

5. CLICK HERE to fill out the entry form and electronically submit your artwork. Entries are due by October 23rd.

Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for over 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. With positive recognition as the focus of this program, rather than competition, students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story.

Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest nationwide programs of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.
